Warranty Coverage Periods

• General Warranty: 5 Years on custom-made products (materials, mechanisms, cords, components).

• Hardwired Motors: 5 Years.

• Plantation Shutters (Structural): 5 Years.

• Battery Motors: 3 Years.

• Remotes: 12 Months.

Shipping & Repair Costs (The "12-Month Rule")

• First 12 Months: If a repair or return is needed for a manufacturing fault, the company covers the cost of parts, labour, and shipping (both ways).

• After 12 Months: The warranty still applies to the parts, but the customer must pay for shipping (both ways) and any repair labour costs.

Important Deadlines for Reporting Issues

• 14 Days: To report marks, holes, scratches, or fabric defects. (Claims made after this are considered wear and tear).

• 30 Days: To report missing parts (slats, brackets, etc.) or cosmetic imperfections.

  • Note: Imperfections are only considered defects if visible to the naked eye from 1.2 metres away in natural light.

Customer Responsibilities (DIY)

• Installation: You are responsible for measuring and installing. The warranty does not cover installation errors (e.g., blinds falling down, "telescoping" due to unlevel brackets).

• Simple Repairs: As a DIY supplier, they may send you parts and instructions for simple fixes (e.g., swapping a chain or slat) rather than accepting a full return.

What is NOT Covered

• Normal wear and tear (fading, fraying).

• Misuse, accidents, or alterations.

• Fabric "bagging" or "V-ing" on very large roller blinds (wider than 2.5m or longer than 3m).

• Minor drooping or stiffness in PVC shutters (considered normal behaviour).

• Wood products used in high-humidity areas (bathrooms).

• Installation or removal costs (including loss of time/income).

Cancellations

• Orders are custom-made. Once production begins, they cannot be cancelled.

• If you need to change/cancel, contact support within 24 hours of placing the order.
